More about Children’s Learning Adventure

General Information

Children’s Learning Adventure has programs for infants through school age children. They follow a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) based curriculum. This allows children to have a myriad of hands-on experiences that develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

After School Programs

Before we know it, school will be back in session. One of the biggest concerns with parents is what to do with their children after school. Don’t worry, Children’s Learning Adventure has you covered. They offer after school programs for children ages 5-12. Children can get a head start on their homework with the assistance of a teacher in the homework club and interact with others in the themed learning environments. Seriously, this place has just about everything to keep kids entertained. With a bowling alley, indoor basketball court, library, culinary kitchen, theater, dance studio, an outdoor classroom and so much more there are options for all types of learners and personalities.

Preschool Programs

The preschool program is geared towards children ages 3 and 4 and has one of the best curriculums in the industry. In addition to all of the STEAM based learning opportunities, every Friday is Adventure Friday. During this time preschoolers enjoy activities like water play, super hero dress-up, and more. The center is open during traditional school breaks and snacks/food are included in the price of tuition.

Amy Onifer
Amy is an "on the go momma" to two spunky and fun loving kids (ages 9 & 8). She came to Columbus to pursue a career in elementary education and decided this was home. She’s an avid traveler, yet can’t master the art of packing. Her philosophy is bring it all because you don’t know if you’re going to need it. If you ever decide to take a trip with her, don’t worry about bringing a camera because she’ll take enough photos of the experience that it will likely crash your hard drive. Before kids, you could find everything neatly organized and straight vacuum lines in her carpet, but these days she's not bothered with worrying about the small stuff. You can catch her belting out her favorite song, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and using her two left feet to bust a move with her family during their frequent impromptu dance parties. She loves living in such a family-friendly city!
