November 24-25: Zassy & Friends Christmas Show: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Via Vecchia Winery | Come shop Black Friday with Zassy and Friends during the Christmas Show. Admission is free in the spirit of Christmas!
November 24: Thanksgiving Family Friday at Ohio History Center: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Animal themed programs this year including Ironwood Wolves and The Ohio Bird Sanctuary. They will have events all weekend, but unique animals on Friday.
November 24: Movie Matinee: My Life as a Turkey: 11:00 a.m. at Battelle Darby Creek | Watch the PBS movie, a true story and a beautiful, charming, funny,sad and thought provoking film that explores one of those rare moments when man and animal unwittingly become more closely linked than nature normally allows.
November 24: Indoor Amusements: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Slate Run Farm | Try some indoor games and toys and challenge your mind at the Farm!
November 24-26-: Kings Island Winter Fest 2017: 5:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. | An unforgettable experience with the park transformed into nine enchanting winter wonderlands featuring ice skating on the Royal Fountain, the Eiffel Tower transformed into a magical Christmas tree, up to 17 rides including Mystic Timbers, more than 5 million lights and 14 holiday characters spreading merriment, like Jack Frost and Sugar Plum Fairy. Could be a fun road trip!
November 25: Columbus Hungry Turkey 5K: 8:45 a.m. at Genoa Park | Run for the Mid Ohio Food Bank and enjoy cinnamon rolls at the end!
November 25: DIY Craft at Home Depot: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Come out and make a Christmas Tree Ornament at this kids workshop! Free.
November 25: Small Business Saturday Market: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Rework Furnishings | Celebrate Small Business Saturday with a group of awesome Columbus Makers.
November 25: Holiday Tales at Franklin Park Conservatory: 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. | Storyteller Michelle Cornell presents Holiday Tales to celebrate the season.
November 25: Lake Shore Learning Craft: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Make a “I can help chore chart!” at Lake Shore Learning (Polaris). This is a free event!
November 25: Football on The Big Screen: 12:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at The Drexel Theater | Free admission, prizes, concessions. Go Buckeyes!
November 26: Beer and Donut Pairing: 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. at The Daily Growler | 3 beer and donut tasting sessions. Donuts are from Buckeye Donuts and local breweries.
November 26: Holiday Open House in Old Worthington: 12:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. | Stroll the sidewalks and enjoy musical entertainment. Stop and visit with Santa in front of the Worthington Inn. Have your child’s picture taken with Santa. Food and beverages abound in the eateries while shops offer holiday snacks and exciting merchandise. Enjoy the entertainment of carolers. Take a carriage ride and view the Christmas decorations in downtown Worthington.
November 26: Tree Illuminiation in Old Worthington: 5:30 p.m. | Visit the Southeast Village Green for the annual Tree Illumination Ceremony. The program begins at 5:30 pm with carols and an appearance by Santa Claus to light the tree.
