We've partnered with the Arnold SportsWorld Kids & Teens Expo to share more information about this fun family event!

If Philadelphia has their Rocky, then we in Columbus have our Arnold. Even if you’ve never been to the Arnold Fitness Expo yourself, you may have noticed the one weekend a year when Columbus is inundated with an extra dose of fit and healthy people (most with extra large muscles!)

If you think the Arnold Fitness Expo is only for the extra-buff, it’s not true! Not only are there four days of sports-related demonstrations, activities and entertainment for adults, but for the fifth straight year, the Arnold SportsWorld Kids & Teens EXPO will be happening simultaneously on Saturday and Sunday, March 2 & 3, 2019 at the Bricker Building at the Ohio EXPO Center. Admission to the Arnold SportsWorld Kids & Teens EXPO and all events at the Ohio Expo Center are included in the Daily EXPO Ticket which is $20. Children 14 and under are FREE when accompanied by an adult. Parking is $10 and there will be a free shuttle that runs from the Greater Columbus Convention Center to the Ohio Expo Center on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

“The Arnold SportsWorld Kids & Teens EXPO offers parents and their children an opportunity to experience dozens of sports and activities and hopefully allow the children to discover a sport that they wish to pursue,” said Jim Lorimer, who co-founded the Arnold Sports Festival with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1989. “This year’s Arnold SportsWorld Kids & Teens EXPO will provide the most varied amount of sports and activities to children of all ages and again feature our city’s major professional, amateur and youth sports organizations.”

Some of the featured activities include demonstrations and activities by the Columbus Blue Jackets, Columbus Clippers, Ohio Machine, Cyclone Gymnastics, World Jump Rope, YMCA of Central Ohio basketball and much more! A few of the new additions in 2019 include archery tag, LEGOLAND Discovery Center, plush pony races and speed cubing with Rubik’s cubes.

In addition to these athletic events and activities, there will be live entertainment on stage including the talent show, Arnold’s Quest For Talent! emceed by Chris Kirkpatrick of the band *NSYNC and the annual Arnold Miss Teen Fitness Pageant at noon on Sunday, March 3, 2019.

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be making appearances on both days.
