NORTH

Freeman’s Farm – Galena, Ohio

  • Admission required?  No.
  • Open Daily?  No.  Six weekends beginning September 24th
  • Know Before You Go: Freemans was closed in 2015 so many people will assume that is the case for 2016 as well. Enjoy being “in the know” that they are, in fact, going to open this year!  Happy news!

Hidden Creek Farms – Sunbury, Ohio

  • Pre-Picked?  YES!

  • Admission required? No.  All day activity bands available for $8.
  • Open daily? YES, 5:00 – dark during the week.  10:30-dark on Saturday and Sunday.  All day on COTA day (10/16/16)

Miller’s Country Gardens – Delaware, Ohio

Pigeon Roost

  • Admission required?  Admission only for farm activities.  The pumpkin patch is free.

Lynd’s Fruit Farm – Pataskala, Ohio

  • Pre-Picked?  Yes!  Many pre-picked pumpkins and gourds available in their market.

  • Fall activities?  YES!  A huge maze as well as other farm activities here.
  • Admission required? Yes!  $10 includes hayride to patch and one pumpkin per person.  Fall activities also included.
  • Open daily?  No. Weekends only.
  • Know before you go:  Call to confirm schedule and hours.  There is a great deli on site.

The Maize at Little Darby Creek – Milford Center, Ohio

  • U-Pick?  YES!
  • Pre-Picked?  YES!
  • Fall activities?  YES!
  • Admission required? Only for farm activities.
  • Open daily? No. Weekends only.

The Orchard & Company– Plain City, Ohio

  • U-Pick? Not pumpkins, but there are U-Pick apples.
  • Pre-Picked? YES!
  • Fall Activities? YES!
  • Admission required? YES!  Adults & Children- $10, Seniors- $5, Under 2-Free.  Fishing and Gem Mining are extra. A farm pass is not required to pick apples.
  • Open daily? No. Saturdays and Sundays only September 10-October 30th from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Know before you go: This is a picturesque location, so bring your camera to capture some fall photos. There are lots of live animals and several activities for children.

CENTRAL

DeMonye’s Greenhouse – Columbus, Ohio

  • U-Pick?  No.
  • Pre-Picked?  No. But, kids get a pumpkin to take home with admission to the fall activities.
  • Fall activities?  YES!
  • Admission required? Only for farm activities.
  • Open daily? YES!
  • Know before you go:  Ok, so this one really isn’t a pumpkin patch, but it is too cute not to share! And, it’s inside!

Further From Columbus

Young’s Jersey Dairy– Yellow Springs, Ohio

  • U-Pick?  Yes.
  • Pre-Picked?  YES!
  • Fall activities?  YES!
  • Admission required? No.  You can purchase three or five-tab wristbands and select which activities you want to do.
  • Open daily? YES!
  • Know before you go:  The food and homemade ice cream are wonderful!  There are lots of activities to keep you busy and things for older kids too like a driving range and mini-golf course.  Young’s Jersey Dairy also has lots of different events throughout the year, so be sure to check the schedule.
