Show Him the Love

In my opinion, dads are often the unsung heroes of the parental unit. I’m so grateful for an annual holiday to take the time to pause and reflect on the important role father’s play in the lives of children. But then, why stop at just one day?

Reflecting on my own marriage, I became aware that I’m definitely lacking in giving my husband the praise and gratitude he deserves for being such a wonderful father. In the daily grind of caring for our young children, my husband’s needs often go unmet and he never complains. A solution for change, be intentional. Intentional with my time, intentional with my actions and intentional with how I love my husband.

I’m planning to extend Father’s Day this year by planning a month of daily interactions to love on my spouse. Ultimately, my goal is to create a new habit to intentionally focus on my husband’s needs and let him know he’s valued and appreciated. Below is my list of 30 practical and easy ways to show my husband a little extra love each day. Steal mine or create your own list to extend the Father’s Day love and give your man the credit he deserves.
