Fare & Square to the Dinnertime Rescue

If you’re tired of wondering what you’re going to have for dinner and then having to cook it, let our partners at Fare & Square come to the dinnertime rescue!

A few weeks ago when it was about time to start making dinner, I thought to myself “Do I seriously have to make dinner again?!? I just made it yesterday!” This is how I often feel around 4:00 every day. How about you?

Yes, I’m a food blogger, but you know what?  Some days after chasing Emily around all day and then cooking for my blog during naptime, the last thing I want to do is turn around at 4:00 and get back in the kitchen.

I posted that cute dinner quote on Instagram one day when this feeling was hitting me hard and that’s when Columbus-based Fare & Square came to my rescue!

In case you haven’t heard about Fare & Square, they are a meal delivery company serving the Greater Columbus area.  In just a few easy steps, you can have fresh, wholesome and homemade meals delivered right to your doorstep and take the dreaded “what’s for dinner” question right out of your vocabulary!

Their menu boasts a variety of items, enough to suit every taste and it changes weekly.  The meals are prepared by certified chefs and are made from scratch using only whole, fresh foods! They hand-chop all of their own fruits and veggies, so it’s just like how you’d make it at home.

They’ve even recently added baby food and snack items! Simply place your order by 3:00 on Friday afternoon and your meals will be delivered to your on Sunday afternoon.  How wonderful does that sound?

Having dinner delivered right to your door means less time you have to spend meal planning, less time grocery shopping for ingredients and less time (no time) making it!

All of these items add up to you having more time to do what you love after a long day, whether it be unwinding with your pet, spending extra time at the gym or being with your family.  When Fare & Square comes to the dinnertime rescue, you have more time doing what you love and less time doing what you don’t, i.e. making dinner.

Now while I love the idea of having homemade dinners delivered right to our door, and who wouldn’t, I figured something like this would be way out of our budget.  Also, as a stay-at-home-mom, the role of “chef” was very much in the job description.  Who was I to try and outsource this important job duty? Talk about major mom-guilt, right?

However, when I looked at their menu I was pleasantly surprised with the options and prices!  The cost to have a meal delivered would roughly be the same as what we spend at the local fast-casual restaurant each week.  Plus, this would be delivered right to our home, which is so much easier than eating out with a toddler.

My mom-built was slowly subsiding and when I saw how easy it was to order, I was completely won over.  All I have to do is click off each menu item I want, with the number of servings and I’m done in a flash! The saying, “Happy Wife, Happy Life” felt so true after I placed our first order.  Boy, was I in a good mood!

For our first meal, Emily loved her Turkey Meatballs with Spaghetti Squash, Kevin devoured his Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and my Summertime Salad had me almost licking the plate! We had a happy family all the way around that night and it’s been the same experience after each Fare & Square dinner!

We all want to have a delicious, healthy dinner. Why not let Fare & Square take care of this for you?  Head to their site now to see how they can help you with the dinner time scramble and as a special for our readers, you can use the coupon code ColumbusMomsBlog15 for 15% off your next order!
