Columbus Area Christmas Tree Farms

1

Does your family cut down a REAL Christmas tree each year at one of Columbus, Ohio’s wonderful Christmas tree farms? Or maybe this is a tradition you are looking to start with your family? Growing up, cutting down a tree was always a big tradition and it has become a tradition we love to continue with our kids. Of course, the process is a little extra work, but the fun we have while out on the farm is worth it! In my opinion, it’s the ultimate Christmas tradition!

There are quite a few options for Christmas tree farms in the Columbus area. Some might be a bit of a trek, but you can make an exciting day of it with all the fun activities offered for the family. What a magical Christmas memory this could be! Let the kids pick out a gorgeous tree (or even a cute, wimpy, Charlie Brown-esque tree), go on a hayride, maybe pet some animals or meet Santa! With the proper planning, this could be a day your family will never forget.

Before arriving at your selected tree farm, make sure to double-check the hours, what services they offer to help you get the tree home, and what payment methods they accept.

We hope you find the perfect tree! Don’t forget the rope!

  1. We have been going out to Alexandria for years, to Hickory Ridge Tree Farm. No frills, but there are tons of trees of all types, and they provide saw and a wagon for your tree to ride in from the field. Dog friendly. They tie your tree onto your car for you. Haven’t lost one yet! Very affordable.
