Wrapping up 2018 at the CMB Noon Year’s Eve Party

2

Nothing makes us happier than connecting with our community.  And this past Monday, we got to do just that – live, and in-person, at our first ever Noon Year’s Eve party!  We celebrated with activities, scrumptious treats, parent fuel (coffee!), lots and lots of play time, dancing and singing with our favorite snow queen, all capped off by a fantastic balloon drop!  We hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did – we can’t wait to see you all again soon at another CMB event!  Cheers to the New Year!

Host Sponsor: The Little Gym of Polaris

The Little Gym of Polaris provided the perfect space for some winter-time fun on a cold and oh, so rainy New Year’s Eve.  Little one’s got out their energy with tons of free play, and creative games, led by the TLG staff.

The Little Gym creates opportunities for your child to try new things and build self-confidence, all with a grin that stretches from ear to ear. Their trained instructors nurture happy, confident kids through a range of classes like parent/child classes and gymnastics,  plus fun extras like parties, camps and more. You can even try out a class for free!

Featured Sponsor: Jimmy John’s

We couldn’t have pulled off this event without the generous support of Jimmy John’s!  Not only did they sponsor the event, but they provided oodles and oodles of delicious bagged chips, along with a free sub card!  Woo hoo!

Princess Sponsor: Paulette’s Princess Parties

The day was already amazing, but it wouldn’t have had nearly as much glitter, sparkle, and shine without the Snow Queen.  What’s a Noon Year’s Eve event without a little snow?  We had plenty, as well as singing, and dancing, thanks to Paulette’s Princess Parties!

Food Sponsors

Cbus Cookies provided beautiful, custom decorated, Noon Year’s Eve cookies, that were also, BTW, delicious!

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Gahanna, provided three different flavors of bundtinis – delicious little bundt cakes with scrumptious icing.  Easy to say, these were a hit!

Peace, Love, and Little Donuts in downtown Worthington sent over amazingly delightful donuts.  Those little babies flew, and were enjoyed by kiddos and parents alike.

Sweetwaters Coffee and Tea of Polaris sent over oodles and oodles of rich, warm, delicious coffee.  Adults enjoyed a cup, while their littles completed an activity or played in the gym.

Sponsors

The Barrington School acted as our activity table sponsor.  Kiddos had fun creating New Year’s crowns, noise makers, and coloring New Year’s Eve themed coloring pages.

i9 Sports was our decorations sponsor.  Many thanks to i9 for bringing the sparkle into the event!

Northstar Family Dental sponsored the selfie-station!  Many cute picts were snapped in front of our New Year’s Eve themed backdrop.

From all of us at Columbus Moms Blog, we wish you the very best in 2019, and hope your year is full of fun activities, community, and of course, a little bit of sparkle.

Happy New Year!

Elisabeth
Elisabeth, a native of southwest Ohio, has recently moved back to her home state after 3.5 years in Dallas, TX, y’all. After having their son in early 2015, Elisabeth and her husband knew it was time to make the bittersweet decision to leave Dallas and head back home. Although neither Elisabeth nor her husband are originally from Columbus, it immediately felt comfortable and welcoming, home at last. Elisabeth is mama to a darling, wacky, and scrumptious one-year-old boy, Baby Bean, and married for over four years to the man who stole her heart with a smile junior year in college. Before embarking on her life-long dream of being a stay at home mom, Elisabeth attended law school in Cleveland and then promptly decided to become a real estate agent in Dallas. Elisabeth loves making lists of all kinds, squeezing into skinny jeans whenever possible, and truly believes nothing tastes better than that first cup of morning coffee (with lots of cream). Her favorite things include Cadbury Eggs, Christmas decorations, hotel room service, and watching Baby Bean grow and change each and every day, even if that means toddlerdom is upon her! Elisabeth is passionate about parenting, and loves to learn about the many different types of parents, child-rearing, and how individual families approach various, every day challenges. She hopes her stories can help others see a new perspective, understand that no matter what, they aren’t alone, bring forth a little bit of inspiration, and ultimately help other parents through this nutty job we’ve bestowed upon ourselves.
