Arnold SportsWorld Kids & Teen Expo

We've partnered with the Arnold Sports Festival to share more information about this fun family event!

Get prepared Columbus! A swarm of fit and healthy tourists are about to descend on our wonderful city and all to be in attendance for the Arnold Sports Festival March 1-4th.

On the surface, this may not seem like a family-friendly event, but for the fourth year in a row, the Arnold SportsWorld Kids & Teen Expo will be taking place Saturday and Sunday, March 3rd & 4th, in the Bricker Building at the Ohio Expo Center.

Last year I had the pleasure of taking my oldest two children and we had the best time. Check the schedule to see what youth competitions are going on in the various buildings because my son and daughter were enamored watching the male and female gymnasts compete!

Youth and adult competitions taking place include archery, baton twirling, cheerleading, lacrosse, gymnastics, table tennis, taekwondo, XPC Powerlifting and Power X. This would be a great opportunity to expose your children to a sport they have been curious to try.

From there we headed into the Bricker Building to roam the 20 + sports areas featuring demonstrations, drills, fun zones, etc. Over 155,000 square feet is dedicated to sports demonstrations and clinics. Some of those hosts include our own Columbus Blue Jackets, Clippers, and Crew! This year there will even be some additional celebrity faces on Saturday, March 3rd from 2:30-3:30 p.m. when you can meet Ronda Rousey, Mike Gillette, and Randy Couture.

Our favorite stops were getting our faces painted, watching the various competitions, and a FREE zip line ride!

Make sure you stop by and check out the talented youth competing in Arnold’s Quest For Talent, the live talent show.

This expo is jam-packed with so many fun activities and will be a fantastic addition to your weekend plans.
